More than 70 companies from both the government and private sector took part in the initiative’s sixth edition. ‘No Paper Day’, is part of QGBC’s ongoing efforts to help schools, companies, and institutions find ways to reduce paper consumption, engage the wider community in environmentally-friendly practices, and raise awareness about sustainability in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to lead the country towards a sustainable future.
During the ceremony, Engineer Meshal Al Shamari, Director, QGBC, handed out certificates of appreciation and accomplishment to delegates from participating companies for taking part in the campaign, which encourageseco-friendly initiatives aimed at reducing waste nationwide.
